Getting to Know Chris

Q: What are three things you cannot do without?
CF: Coffee, workouts and sugar (yes I have a sweet tooth)
 
Q: Favorite Quote?
CF: "Treat people as you would like to be treated. Karma is only a bitch if you are."
 
Q: First thing you do in the morning is…
CF: Drink 16 oz of lemon water. (I drink my Vrou either before my workout or in the afternoon:))
 
Q: Last thing you do before going to bed…
CF: Don't know .. I'm fortunate that my head hits the pillow and I"m out like a light. Would love to say I meditate ... but I close my eyes and BOOM - I'm out.
 
Q: What person would you like to swap lives with for a day?
CF: Katie Couric .. I just love her. Her job is so interesting. She is fun, spunky, and smart and likeable!
 
Q: Best piece of health advice given to you?
CF: Take care of yourself. Respect your body.
 
Q: Who inspires you?
CF: My mom of course- she's the best! But, there have been lots of women in my life who have given me wisdom... can't list them all. I am a believer in sharing with others and giving to others. I've been fortunate to come in contact with other women who are peers, neighbors, friends and family who have been influential in my life.
 
Q: Favorite VROU flavor?
CF: Pineapple Mint:) I do like it as a pre-workout drink. B vitamins give me energy.
 
Q: Why VROU?
CF: I'm a big water drinker but like to have a change of pace everysooften. I won't drink sodas and funky colored drinks with chemicals and fake sugars because they make you feel horrible not better. I love the way Vrou tastes. I love that it's packed with nutrients like calcium, magnesium, vit D and B vitamins. I love that there are no chemicals or fake food coloring or sugars

Chris shares her healthy living tips weekly on the Minneapolis NBC affiliate in a segment called Motivation Monday. She also has appeared nationally on the Today Show and Lifetime TV. She has created dozens of workout DVDs to help people get fit and stay motivated. Her latest is a collection of 7 HIIT workouts. Chris is passionate about helping people live healthier lives, and works with all groups and fitness levels including adults, kids, and athletes. She also is very involved with several nonprofit organizations geared toward helping youth get active.
